Boatyard Tools

Here are a few of the tools I use in the boatyard. Having the “right stuff” to handle small and large jobs around the boatyard often makes the difference when attempting to turn out a professional job while safely handling the larger tasks. One of the most recent additions I have covered in another page. The gantry allows me to move boats on and off trailers exposing both the trailers and the boats for proper repairs and adjustments to be made to both the boats and their trailers. Below are pictures of some of the tools I have aquired.

I picked up a table at the sewing machine company. The machine was way out of time so now after adjustment it works “smooth as a sewing machine.” I really like this machine; and the table is a perfect fit. On the machine is a panel made from Sunbrella that will be used as the cover for the engine slot on Belle. Most gratifyingly, I do believe I can get the hang of this sewing thing. Add another discipline to the boatyard.
